The Anna Laura Martin Scholarship Program

- Anna Laura Martin was a strong advocate for education. Anna inspired and encouraged her children to commit to education and to make a positive difference in the community. Anna served her community well through her supportive spirit.
- In honor of the legacy of Anna Laura Martin, the Anna Laura Martin Scholarship Program annually awards a scholarship in the amount of $1500 to talented and economically-challenged African American high school seniors who show a keen interest careers in education, social work, or community engagement.
Scholarship Purpose
Identify and support scholarship funding for African American high school seniors who are interested in career goals within the fields of education, social work, or community engagement.

Eligibility
- Must have an accumulative GPA of 2.5
- Exhibit exceptional leadership potential
- Must complete the Anna Laura Martin Scholarship Application Form
- Demonstrate financial need
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must have two letters of recommendation
